AIRPLAN was founded in 1968 as a joint venture between the German LTG Lufttechnische GmbH and a Spanish private investment group led by Dr. Ing. Andreu Ferrer (photo). A few years later AIRPLAN became fully owned by the Spanish group and continued focussed on air treatment solutions for the industry; our corporate name and logo – a symbolic axial fan – remind us of those earlier days.

By the mid-80s, AIRPLAN started offering integral cleanroom solutions for the pharmaceutical industry and by 1995 we had expanded worldwide with most of our current services and products.
