AIRPLAN S.A.’s participation in In-Cosmetics was very positive, as there was a lot of movement with regard to the fair’s attendees, who were mainly international. At this event a pilot plant was displayed on the stand to attract potential customers to the stand.
- BFS Latin America Seminar by Rommelag
The Operations Director of AIRPLAN S.A., Valentí Sellarés, together with the Representative of AIRPLAN S.A. in Paraguay, Luis Canudas, were invited by Rommelag to the “BFS Latin America Seminar”, held in Asunción, Paraguay.
Valentí gave a presentation to share the organisation’s know-how on the “Impact of the new GMP regulations (ISO 14644-4) and how they affect BFS facilities”, presenting the importance of the design of cleanrooms for Blow Fill and Seal (BFS) systems and highlighting fundamental aspects such as: the strategy for contamination control, the definition of requirements in the design stages, energy management and the need to achieve good ventilation effectiveness. Key elements to ensure the correct and efficient operation of BFS equipment in compliance with current regulations.
AIRPLAN S.A. has been a member of the Pharmaceutical Blow-Fill-Seal International Operators Association (BFS IOA) since 2015.
- Medical Cannabis Europe Conference in Lisbon
AIRPLAN is an established supplier to the medical cannabis industry in Portugal. It is for this reason that it participated as a sponsor in the 3rd edition of the Medical Cannabis Congress in Europe, organised by the National Association of Pharmacies of Lisbon (ANF) and held in Lisbon, Portugal.
It is the first time that the organisation has participated in this congress, but it was an opportunity for the company to increase its presence in the medical cannabis industry in Portugal, a sector that is booming. In addition, topics such as the current European market outlook in this sector will be discussed, topics such as the current European market outlook in this sector will be discussed and aspects such as the applicable regulations and the expectations of the authorities in the licensing inspections will be addressed.
- Cosmetorium local fair in Barcelona
September saw us attend and exhibit at the sixth Cosmetorium, the fair for the creation, formulation, development, supply, manufacture and subcontracting of cosmetic products, held in Barcelona. This national fair brings together all the cosmetics professionals who could become future clients for us. For this reason, although it is a small fair in comparison with the international ones, it has a high potential to attract clients from the area.
- CPHI International Fair in Barcelona
We also presented our latest developments at the CPHI fair, the most important global gathering for pharmaceutical professionals, held from 1 to 3 November. Pharmaceutical and chemical ingredients and products, equipment and solutions for drug handling are found at the fair. This fair is held every autumn in a different European city, this year it was in Barcelona and it was very well received. There were a lot of visitors, with whom we made new contacts and gained new opportunities for future projects. In addition, we exhibited a 10-litre pilot plant which attracted the attention of many clients.
